I loved my stay in Florence at Studio Bargello. We were greeted by Guilio and he shared the details about the studio and a map of Florence. We spent some time reviewing where we were in relation to the wonderful places we wanted to experience in beautiful Florence. The frescos were gorgeous and the studio right near the Duomo. Everything was within walking distance and surrounded by charming cafes and shops. Thank you! I cannot wait to return!

This is an absolutely beautiful flat in a really central location. Our host was very friendly and really took the time to recommend great places to eat (especially the market). There's a big comfy bed and everything you need. The only downsides are the street noise and the tiny shower - both a trade-off for the location/period features I suppose! Our sleep was interrupted by singing and shouting from the street in the early hours, but it was a Friday and Saturday night in a city centre. Book, enjoy the beautiful apartment, and take earplugs!

Studio Bargello is a lovely apartment with old world charm and modern amenities. There are beautiful frescoes on high ceilings, clean new bathroom, eat in kitchen and room to move around. The location is so convenient to attractions we were able to stop "home" frequently to leave purchases or freshen up. The street is a bit noisy at night but easily blocked with a white noise app. Our host Giulio was prompt and a gentleman with helpful suggestions. Hope we will be able to return!

Lovely apartment in the heart of Florence with original Renaissance frescoes and antique furniture. It is on the 4th floor (elevator available) of the famous Palazzo dell’Arte dei Giudici e dei Notai, historical seat of the Judges and Notaries guild since the 13th century.
The apartment offers a breathtaking view: the Cathedral on the right side, Palazzo Vecchio on the left side.

A booklet with all needed info, rules, downtown city map, places to visit, suggested restaurants, useful numbers, list of closets services and shops is at your disposal.

From the train station, first-time visitors inevitably gravitate towards Piazza del Duomo and the adjacent Baptistery. Their colourful patterned exteriors make a starling contrast with the dun-toned buildings around. Each of those great buildings is remarkable inside as out, and an ascent of the Cathedral's Dome will give you astounding views over the city to the hazy Tuscan hills beyond.

After exploring the cathedral, you can escape the crowds by climbing the Campanile of Giotto, the Duomo's belltower, or visit the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, a repository for works of art removed over the centuries from the Duomo, from the Baptistery and from the Campanile.
Next to it you can explore the Loggia del Bigallo. It contains a tiny museum relating to one of the city's oldest philanthropic institutions.
If you're in need of a break after this architectural and artistic overload, you can recharge your batteries at one of the cafés nearby Piazza della Repubblica, a square that was plannd as a showcase for the Florence Capital City at the end of the XIX century, of the newly united Italy.
