The St. Ursula Apartment was our happy home for a week. We were found by Giulio at the wrong address - we were waiting by the red no.12 (a business address) and not the blue no.12 (blue for private addresses). It was only a few doors away so we were quickly taken to the right place. He gave us good advice about our visit and we appreciated his restaurant recommendations. We got up early most mornings in order to see the city before it got too busy. It was worth it to see the market stall holders preparing for the day and to watch the jewellers on the Ponte Vecchio taking the shutters off their windows. We took the bus up the hill to Fiesole to visit the Roman amphitheatre and Etruscan temple. There were great views down to the city, then we took a bus up to Piazzale Michaelangelo to view it from the other side. It was great to have our comfortable apartment to return to for a rest. We bought fresh food in The Mercato Centrale at the end of the street and cooked delicious meals - fresh fish (bream) and bean stew. When we had problems with the washing machine Giulio was able to give us advice on WhatsAp which was very useful. We also found the T.V. temperamental but as there was so much to see we didn't have much time to watch it! The service from Suite Florence was excellent. The booking was easy, the information was comprehensive and the apartment was in a great location right in the city.

Nice apartment that was central to all the local tourist spots (1 block down from the Central Market). Guilio was very helpful when we were delayed due to a lost bag at the airport and was flexible with our arrival time. Both Guilio and Cosimo were extremely responsive and easy to work with. When the blowdryer provided didn’t work and we needed a wine key, they dropped them off for us the next day. Overall great experience. Only downside is it is a bit of a noisy street. There’s a few restaurants below the apartment which people seem to like to hang out at in the later hours of the night. However, if you close the windows it’s fairly quiet. This is to be expected since you’re in the heart of the city.

Great location and lovely apartment! Large living and bedrooms, within walking distance to all the major attractions in Florence. The Mercato Centrale is just a few steps away, with many food options to eat there or take out. Nice extra touches included maps, books and an umbrella. Giulio met us and gave great tips on where to go. Kitchen is cozy, with a good sized refrigerator, freezer and stove. It was wonderful to have a washing machine as well.
